Skype – The Answer To A Mother’s Prayers
Deb’s son was in the military. He was currently stationed in Iraq. She would not get to see him again for at least six more months. She missed him greatly. They emailed each other as much as possible to keep in touch. In one of his emails, he let her know that he had a skype account and that they could talk via that method on Sundays. Deb was excited that she now had a way to talk to her son. However, Deb was a bit computer illiterate. She emailed Him back to ask how can I skype? He sent her detailed instructions on how to set up an account, login and be ready to talk to him. The following Sunday she got to hear his voice for the first time in months. They were able to communicate together for two hours. When they finished Deb was the happiest she had been in quite some time. From then on, she knew that at least once a week she would be able to talk to her son. She would know he was okay. That meant the world to her. She loved skype!
